The Sanctuary Lamp—“Vichne Svitlo”
If anyone would like to give an offering for the Sanctuary Lamp to burn for deceased loved ones or for the intentions of the living, please see Father Matthew. The Lamp burns for one week (from Friday to Friday) and the customary offering is $15.
The Sanctuary Lamp for the week of
25 June –2 July will burn for the repose of the servant of God Victor (Wisniski) (Piaseckyj Family).

Reminder: Apostles' Fast (Petrivka)
The Apostles' Fast (Petrivka) begins on 31 Ма y and lasts until Vespers on 28 June, the Eve of the Feast of the Holy Apostles Ss. Peter and Paul. This is a period of penance for our Church, which is of ancient origin. The usual customs of fast periods apply.
1 st FRIDAY PASTORAL VISITATIONS
Pastoral visitations to the homebound are usually connected with the 1 st Friday of the month. Do you know of anyone who is not on the list (who is entirely or partially homebound), who could benefit from a visitation for Holy Communion, Holy Confession, or Holy Anointing?
Religious Education for Children
In the past few weeks, since the beginning of the school year, some have expressed interest in a weekly religious education class for youngsters (especially those preparing to confess their sins for the first time). If you would like to register a student for religious education, please see Fr. Matthew to discuss starting date and time.
ОFFERINGS FOR THE DECEASED
It is a pious and praiseworthy custom to pray for our deceased loved ones, and to make offerings to God in their names, for the remission of their sins and their repose in eternal life.
It is important, from time to time, to remind the people of our Eparchy that if anyone has been the victim of sexual abuse by the clergy, he or she should come forward and make that known either to the bishop, to one's pastor, or to a member of the special Review Board that handles such cases. The bishop can be reached at his Chancery by dialing (440) 888-1522 or by writing to him at P.O. Box 347180, Parma, OH 44134-7180
